Q. I have a Sony Ericsson UIQ 3 smartphone and am having trouble updating its firmware. I've downloaded the required Sony Ericsson Update wizard but it doesn't want to talk to my smartphone. Q. I can send MMS messages, but I can't actually receive them. When someone sends a picture to me, I don't see the actual picture. but a link to a page on my network provider's web site instead. I've double checked the MMS settings and they seem to be correct.
My P800's sound is faulty and ring tones and caller audio don't work properly

Incoming calls now sound the wrong ring tune (a custom WAV file of mine) and sometimes I can’t hear the caller and they can’t hear me. Everything’s set correctly in ‘Control panel’, so I’m at a loss. Where's my keylock function gone?
Q. I often use the keylock feature of the P900 but that option seems to be missing, both in flip closed mode and also in flip open mode, where the ‘Battery | Lock screen’ option is greyed out. I’ve tried restarting the P900, to no avail. What’s going on?
Despite switching to Flight mode overnight, my battery is still sucked dry!

Why does my P910i keep changing its IMEI code?
Q. I've been using a P910i for the last three months, but I'm having trouble registering applications. For starters, the IMEI reported by most (but not all) applications (starting with "14") is different from that printed on the phone itself (starting with "35"). Then, when I try and sort the problem out by resetting the unit, the reported IMEI changes and I have to request new registration codes for all my third party programs. What's going on?
