Nokia Video Manager has been updated to version 1.5 and now supports the direct download of videos. Videos can be downloaded from the web via special links (nvd://) directly into Nokia Video Manager making it easier to get videos on to phones such as the Nokia N95. Another week, another free VoIP client - ho hum. This time it's from Nokia themselves though, which is good, but only currently 'compatible' with the N80 IE and N95, strangely. Gizmo can be grabbed from Nokia Beta Labs here.

Orange has started publicly talking about Bubbletop, an AJAX web home page. It is a competitor to sites like Netvibes and Pageflakes. The closed alpha of Bubbletop is now open for possible sign up. Bubbletop will join a number of other Orange Web 2.0 services including Pikeo (images and photographs) and SoundTribes (music).
OK, this has started to get silly. Despite a degree in physics, I can't get my head around how this is possible. Samsung have now announced an 8GB microSD card. Given the minute size of microSD, the technology has started to get seriously jaw-dropping. Not that we couldn't all think of ways to use 8GB, of course. Comments and suggestions welcome!
