The Nokia 701 is the top model in Nokia's recently announced Symbian Belle smartphone range. Steve's started our Nokia 701 coverage by posting some short tech pieces looking at the increased capacity battery and the improved EDoF camera. This gallery offers a visual overview of the device, ahead of our forthcoming review coverage.

In All About Symbian Insight 189, we start with a discussion of Nokia's Q3 2011 results, which Rafe says suggests Nokia is on the road to recovery. We look ahead to Nokia World, in what is certain to be a busy week of announcements, and the team shares what device they'll be carrying at the event. In the second half, we share our first thoughts on the Nokia 700. It is Nokia's smallest smartphone and runs Symbian Belle; we'll be returning to the device in more detail in a future podcast.
The Nokia 700 is a mid tier Symbian Belle smartphone and is Nokia's smallest ever smartphone. It should appeal to those upgrading from older Symbian devices, or those looking to buy a smartphone for the first time. In many markets it is the first device to ship with Symbian Belle, the latest revision of the software platform. This gallery offers a visual overview of the device, ahead of our forthcoming review coverage.
