Guest writer Matt Radford brings us his impressions of the Apple iPhone after a lifetime of S60 use, from Nokia 7650 to N70. Although the transition would have been even more apt if he'd gone from something more up to date like an N95, it's still a terrifically interesting comparison and a good read.
In the final part of his review of the Nokia N81 Ewan looks at two applications that add a little something to the multimedia and music credentials of the N81: Podcasting and Visual Radio. Ewan then brings us some thoughts about the positioning of this music and gaming orientated Nseries device before coming to an overall conclusion.

Zach, over at Symbian in Motion, has just done a long term review of the USA-spec Nokia N95 (larger battery, redesigned back, more RAM), comparing it to an imported European original. Well worth a read if you're in the USA.
Going for a business device doesn't mean missing great photo opportunities. I took a few moments out this month to snap some of the colourful Autumn and to see what the Nokia E90's 3 megapixel camera could really do. It's not an N95, but it's close.
In part 3 of his extended review of the Nokia N81 8GB, Ewan experiments with music synchronisation, using both Nokia's music system and Microsoft's Media Player, before moving on to test the integration with Nokia's new Music Store. In summary, things went pretty smoothly, with a few caveats. As a music-focussed smartphone, the N81 8GB seems to be faring quite well.
I've been mulling over an editorial looking forward to the (hopefully imminent) Nokia N95 firmware upgrade but was stopped in my tracks when Vaibhav Sharma, who has perfected telepathic theft, managed to raid my mind and get it all down for the world to read first(!) Kudos. Nokia, please take note of this list of things you need to fix and add. Users, enjoy - I wonder how many of these we'll see in the real world?

The latest Nseries, the Nokia N82, has been formally announced. The N82 features a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and a Xenon flash, an assisted-GPS. The N82 boasts and impressive ray of connectivity options: quad-band GSM, WCDMA with HSDPA at 2100 MHz, WiFi and Bluetooth. The N82 is available immediately in key markets and sells for an approximate, pre-tax, unsubsidised price of 450 Euros (£315). Read on for more.
