Digitally Sign Your P800 Applications

Tietoenator are now able to offer testing and Digital Signing of applications for the P800. If you are an author, you can wave goodbye to the "Author Unknown" error messages get when they install your application. The cost is 149 Euros, and (unlike other companies) the testing/signing is not a requirement to distribute your app.

Who's phone is that mobile? Symbian used tidy in the vales!

An article featured on BBC News Online shows how doctors in South Wales are using Symbian smartphones to speed up treatment for patients. It'as good to see real everyday use of a technology that works - and this article gives details of how it is making a difference for the people surrounding the Royal Glamorgan Hospital in Llantrisant. Questions may arise over the quality of an image taken in 640x480, but they say that tests have been carried out and the results are positive. Needing a reliable platform on which to base this service, one that won't crash or take half an hour to load an application - means that the natural choice is Symbian.
