And so to my latest roundup of smartphone cases, here for the Nokia 5800. Interestingly, because the device's dimensions are almost identical to that of the Nokia N82 and N78, some pouch-style designs for these devices will also be suitable for the 5800. What follows is an illustrated roundup of some of the obvious contenders for casing your Nokia 5800 XpressMusic.
Rafe Blandford and I were invited to spend a day with the new Samsung Omnia HD, powered by Symbian OS 9.4 and S60 5th Edition (the previous Omnia had been much lower spec and Windows Mobile-powered). In part two of our in-depth Nokia 5800 XpressMusic preview Rafe looks at multimedia capabilities of the phone. In part 1 of the review I covered the 5800's hardware / design and touch implementation.

Part 1 covers the hardware and general design of the phone together with a detailed look at its touch implementation. Part 2 covers the multimedia capabilities of the phone, software, availability and the conclusion.
Rafe's been trying out Nokia's newest Music service offering. There may be some caveats, but overall he comes away very impressed.
