The next gen N-Gage shoot-em-up Space Impact Kappa Base has been updated to add support for online clans and instant messaging in the game's "World Battle" section. Current owners can update to the new version for free, and people who haven't bought SI:KB yet may like to know the game's price has been dropped to 5 euros. Current owners can find full instructions for updating to the new version below.

If you already have Space Impact Kappa Base, here's how to update to the new version...

You can replace the old version with the updated version by removing the old version and then installing the new version's free trial. It will automatically turn into the full game if you've already purchased it before.

Updating shouldn't affect saved games, but we can't be 100% sure about that as Nokia haven't said anything on the matter.

Here's a step by step set of instructions:

1. In the N-Gage app's "My Games" section highlight the Space Impact Kappa Base icon.

2. Select "Options", then "Remove". When the game has been removed its icon will turn transparent.

3. Go to the N-Gage app's "Showroom" section.

4. Select "See All Games".

5. Select the Space Impact Kappa Base icon.

6. Select the trial version download and follow the on-screen instructions.

After installation, the trial version will automatically turn into the full updated version, with support for clan battles and instant messaging.
