Crash! On the N-Gage. Or more precisely Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3-D makes an appearance just in time for Christmas. The themed arcade karting game based on the Crash Brandicoot characters makes a return to the N-Gage, after a rather poor effort on the N-Gage classic. Thankfully Vivendi's little racer is far more fun this time around. The free demo is online now, and the full game is 8 Euros.

Alongside your Kart, you have the ability to pick up one of eight weapons that litter the 12 tracks bundled into the game. As always, it's not just smart driving that wins the day, but good use of these weapons, and a sometimes evil streak to cripple your opponents just enough to get past them at the finish line – especially if they've discovered a short-cut on the circuit before you have!

Crash Bandicoot Nitro Kart 3-D is available through the N-Gage client, as always you will need to go to the showroom section, select Options" and then "Update Now" to see it. Alternatively it's available on the N-Gage website here if you prefer to install games through your computer.
