N-Gage competition round-up

Published by at

There are now six separate competitions running simultaneously to promote the N-Gage platform, with some rather good prizes ranging from phones and games to a big pile of Star Wars and football goodies. We've collected together all the links and info you need to enter these contests and grab some loot. As these contests have been poorly advertised there is actually a very good chance of winning too... :-)

Star Wars Force Unleashed N-Gage Video & Prose Contest

Prizes: Nikko Remote Control R2D2 DVD Projector, Full Stormtrooper Outfit, Clone Trooper Helmets, Clone Trooper Figures, Autographed Force Unleashed Novels.

How To Enter: There are actually two contests, both running every month until March 2009. Both can be entered from the Official N-Gage Star Wars site's competition section. You only have to enter each contest once, your entry will automatically be re-entered the next month if you don't win.

The video contest is called "N-Gage The Force" and to enter just upload a 20 second video with the theme "How you would N-Gage the force". Once you've uploaded one video, it will be considered for each monthly draw for smaller prizes, and it will also be in the final grand draw to win the R2D2 projector or the Stormtrooper outfit.

The prose contest is called "Unleash The Force" and to enter just write 25 words or less on the subject "What would you do if you could unleash the Force?". Once you're entered into the competition, you will be part of every monthly draw until the end of the contest. There is no grand draw at the end of the prose contest though, just the monthly prizes.

Digital Chocolate N-Gage Contest

How To Enter: Fill in your details on the competition form page, and it will be entered into a weekly draw to win an N95 8GB. If your name is chosen, you'll be e-mailed a "skill testing question", and if you get it right you win the N95 8GB. All the winners will be contacted after the contest has ended. The competition closes on the 25th of December 2008.

Also, the top 100 scores all get 150 N-Gage Points. Note that there's currently an investigation into cheating in the contest, so there may be changes to the closing date, see the ONE tournament page for more details.

Note that this competition is only open to people "who are working in or related to the games industry".
