The very real Projekt and 10 'wishlist' UIQ 3 apps

Published by Steve Litchfield at 16:21 UTC, June 15th 2007

Projekt, the only genuine 'outliner' for Symbian OS, recently hit S60 3rd Edition. Now that it's available for both current Symbian-based platforms, Asri al-Baker reviews the UIQ 3 version of Projekt and shows how it can be used for everything from project management to shopping lists... And in the second part of a UIQ 3 double bill, Asri explains his top 10 wishlist for UIQ 3 - any developers fancy a challenge? If you're looking for comments on the UIQ 3 wishlist, see here, at the bottom of the article itself!

Great article has usual Asri!!! I love projekt, just think it needs a PC app conterpart ;)

Regarding the software missing on UIQ3 catalog, i agree 300% In fact i will also post it at SE devs forum...not all is the devs job, SE also needs to step in...and some free apps like s60 does would be nice

ot: AAS team, there is a new fw for P990, and its really great...better post the news ;)

Definitely recommended for 3rd edition owners disappointed with the standard S60 'Notes' and 'ToDo list' functionality - works great on the E61.

There is a PC app with similar (not exactly same) functionality called FreeMind http://freemind.sourceforge.net

Although I use it less these days , now that I have found Projekt (due to the added advantage of mobility)

Thanks for the helpful information. I've heard some things about FreeMind, but nothing concrete.
