A Customisable Launcher for UIQ 3 has Arrived!

UIQ 3 users have been longing for something llike this since the beginning. GDesk by Gary Leach is a very customisable desktop/launcher application which can be set to replace the built-in launcher (i.e. the P990's Activity Menu). Oh, and it also has a nice little Calendar plug in to show appointments for 'quick view', supports multiple pages, page backgrounds, and more! Link and screenshot after the break.

A beta version of the new Download! for PC is now available via the Nokia Beta Labs website. Download! for PC allows you to easily download pre-selected content and copy it to your phone adding either a new look (themes, ringtones and wallpaper) or new applications and games. The PC version offers a way to reduce costs and to speed up download times.

Vivendi's Crash Bandicoot heading to N-Gage

Nokia today announced that it is working with Vivendi Games Mobile to bring crash Bandicoot games to its next generation N-Gage gaming platform. Crash Bandicoot see you saving the world with a marsupial over a variety of levels with a mixture of action and comedy. Currently there is no information on which games will be coming to the platform or when.

Frozen Bubble for UIQ 3!

Frozen Bubble, a very popular and addictive freeware game formerly available for S60 and S60 3rd Edition has just been ported to UIQ 3 by AnotherGuest.
