Unlike P990 and M600 where Pdf+ is included in the ROM, the Sony Ericsson W950 Walkman smartphone doesn't have a built in PDF reader. With this new release, it is now possible to read PDF files while listening to your favourite music collection in your W950.
If you own UIQ 3 smartphones, especially P990 and M600, you ought to check this excellent utility called Tweak Peaks from CellPhoneSoft (Producer of Swiss Manager). It get rid of the transition effect, making navigation and general usage faster.

Ruby, the programming language, is now available for UIQ 3 phones following on from its early availability on S60. Ruby is currently in the proof on concept stage and is gradually being developed in response to feedback from interested parties, the next update should be available in February. PuTTY the secure shell terminal software is now available for UIQ 3. The software supports SSH protocol version 1 and 2 and private key authentication using keys generated with PuTTYGen. You can connect over WLAN, 3G, or GPRS connectivity. The developer is looking for feedback and suggestions for future versions.
Nokia today announced an extension of its relationship with Sony Ericsson, bringing Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email to two additional devices, the M600 and P990. The product allows users a fully synchronized, real-time email, calendar and contacts solution. It's available immediately. The full press release follows.
