YFTP for Series60 is the long awaited FTP client for the Nokia 7650 and 3650. It is a simple to use but very powerful FTP-Client for the Nokia Smartphones. Its quite pricey at $25, but can be bought via Handango.

While there isn't any outward indication on the Symbian website, anyone downloading the OPL runtime for their Nokia Communicator will download the first full version (version 1.0) of the runtime. After extensive testing by Symbian (both in-house and by external developers), OPL has been updated and is now badged as version 1.0 Good news indeed. I doubt this will have much application for the average user! However it is the first 3rd party hardware add on for the Nokia 7650 (aside from cases etc.). It doesn't have a direct connection to the 7650 but instead uses the IR port which the scanning attachement covers.
Handy Safe is set to be available on the SE P800. Handy Safe is a well known application for the Nokia 7650. It seems that Epocware will be porting at least some of their Handy range of prgrams to the P800 which can only be good news for potential P800 owners.
