Who about a full first person RPG on your N-Gage? With input from the original design team of Elder Scrolls, Nokia and Wir2L Studios will be releasing "The Elder Scrolls Travels: Shadowkey" in Q4 2004. Todd Howard, executive producer comments that "the N-Gage platform is clearly delivering the best 3D experience we've ever seen on a mobile device." Nokia promised some big names and titles, let's hope there's more like this.
A developer named as AnotherGuest has done a UIQ port of PicoDrive which is an initial attempt to make a MegaDrive/Genesis emulator for Pocket PC, using Cyclone 68000 as the CPU core.Read the full story here.Note that the emulator is still in early development stage.A Series 60 version is being developed also.Latest build of PicoDrive with Cyclone core 0.67 is attached.

Sony Ericsson has announced that they will have a new President on June 22. Current President Mr Katsumi Ihara will return to Sony Japan to take up the post of Executive Deputy President and Group Chief Strategy Officer & Chief Financial Officer of Sony Corporation in Japan, and will be replaced by Mr Miles Flint, currently President, European Marketing of Sony Europe. Given the recent improvements of Slaes figures of SE phones, it's safe to say that SE is now on a sound financial footing, and is looking to exploit it's market position.

Stan Lee's watching over us. Activision and Nokia today announced "Spiderman 2" for the Nokia N-Gage, with 4 3-D Levels and 15 2-D Levels. But is it a fighting game? Or action adventure? Apart from a useful quote that it will "provide a challenging arena to combat a wide range of enemies" we don't know. Spiderman 2 will be availaable in the summer of 2004.

ExCel have announced that the 2004 Symbian Exposium will be held at the ExCel Exhibition and Conference Centre in London's Docklands on Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th October 2004. Details here. There are no details (yet) on the events at this year's Exposium's yet, but if it runs similar to last year's event expect a trade show, keynotes speeches from significant figures in the Symbian ecosystem, developer briefings and some interesting product releases.
