Fring the mobile VoIP software that also aggregates instant messaging services is now available for the Sony Ericsson P1i. Fring have also added support for ICQ instant messaging and voice chat in addition to the existing Sykpe, MSN, Google Talk and Twitter support.

Apparently, one of the biggest Nokia E90 competitors, the Windows Mobile-powered i-Mate Ultimate 7150, has now been axed without even making it into production. No idea whether this is due to the perceived market for such a clamshell or simply because i-Mate have other problems...

Epocware has announced that they've completed the conversion of their SlovoEd multilingual dictionaries and ‘Handy’ line of utilities to both the wide-screened Nokia E90 and the UIQ 3-powered Motorola Z8. Example screenshots on the E90 and the full press release after the break.
