AAS Insight #244: A changing world
At 3GSM 2007 Nokia announced the E65 - a slider for the Eseries (business) range of phone. Notable among its features are one-touch keys which allow easy access to key functions such as contacts and group calling. It might not have the glamour of its bigger borthers, but it still packs a punch.
Nokia's Communicator series goes S60. The E90 is Nokia's top of the range business phone - a phone with a phone. It opens clamshell style to reveal a full keyboard and large internal screen. Its built like a brick and looks a bit like on too.
Motorola's re-entry into the Symbian phone world. The Z8 has a quniue form factor - a modified slider - which has earned it the nick name the bannana phone. Its also the first non-touch screen UIQ phone. Other impressive details include the bundled software - Shozu and Sky by Mobile (UK users can access Sky channels).
Here are a selection of sample photos captured on the N95. These are from an ealry firmware version and the quality of the camera capture has since been improved. However they still give you a good idea of just what the N95 is capable of.
