According to this Digitimes article it is rumoured that the Taiwanese handset maker Quanta is to produce a Symbain smartphone. As usual with these rumours no more details are available and Quanta is making no comments. If they do produce one its possible that it could be for a different manufacturer as they currently produce devices for Siemens and Panasonic Mobile Communications.
