The importance of the mobile user experience in hardware, software and services can not be under estimated. The increasing functionality of smartphones and their spread to the mass market will further increase importance the user experience. With increasingly complexity of functionality comes a greater need for simplicty of use. With increasing number of non-technial users comes and ever greater need for intuitive usage patterns. I suspect the smartphone UI and OS battle will increasingly be fought over which platform can deliver the best user experience both in the software platform and in third party software and services.
All About Symbian will be reporting live from the conference. If you like to meet up at the conference to tell us about your product please get in touch (rafe@allaboutsymbian.com).
