Infowave Ships Symmetry Express for Sony Ericsson P800 and Nokia 3650 and 7650 Devices

Vancouver, British Columbia – June 12, 2003 – Infowave Software (TSE: IW), a provider of wireless software for mobile operators, corporations and individuals announced today the availability of its Infowave Symmetry suite of wireless e-mail solutions for Symbian’s advanced, open, standard operating system for data-enabled mobile phones now shipping in volume worldwide. The Infowave Symmetry solution suite allows individuals and companies to access their personal and corporate e-mail from a range of wireless PDA’s and smartphone devices.

Commercial availability of Infowave’s Symbian OS solutions begins with the launch of Symmetry Express, Infowave’s wireless solution for personal e-mail access including POP3 and Hotmail. Symmetry Express now supports both Symbian 6.1 and Symbian 7.0 devices and provides the ability to instantly deliver new e-mail messages without any user intervention. Available through Infowave’s mobile operator partners such as T-Mobile International, Symmetry Express is one of the first wireless e-mail solutions in the marketplace to support Symbian OS.

A member of Symbian’s Catalyst Program, Infowave has been working in close co-operation with Symbian for several months to develop and market solutions for Symbian’s mobile phone manufacturer partners, corporate customers and mobile network operators.
