The Helix DNA Player Preview Release 1.2 is now available. This is the result of the Open Source Helix program (RealPlayer). The Helix player is effectively a more advanced Real Player. Supported media includes RealAudio G2, 7, 8, RealVideo G2, 7, 8, 9, H.263, AMR-NB, AMR-WB and MP3. The advanced profile version also supports 3GPP SMIL and 3GPP Timed Text.

This is a preview release (so its not perfect), but if you want to see the next stage in streaming audio and video playback its worth a look.
