FreEPOC update JABP, and confirm support for P800 Version
Published by Ewan Spence at
Malcolm Bryant and FreEPOC have updated Jabp, the free cross-platform banking application. We're delighted to report that inital testing shows it to work happily on the Sony Ericsson P800 - so that makes FreEPOC among the first companies to actually release a P800 applicaton!
There are some pointers to get this verison working on the P800, so take note. At present, Jabp configures itself for 240x320 machines. For the best experience, P800 users will need to go into the Preferences option and reduce the width of some of the settings to avoid having to horizontally scroll the displays. When I have an actual P800 machine to test on to see which settings work best, then I can make the program use these as P800 defaults. But at present, P800 users should reduce the Account Name width to 10, the Category Name width to 16 etc. Also, Malcolm will have to check whether the graphs look OK.
Other than that, the program should work fine and much faster than on any 9210 :-)
