Details of the Nokia GPS Module (LAM-1) for the Nokia 9210, 9290 and 9210i have been uploaded to the Nokia website.

The GPS unit will be sold with Tom Tom's CityMaps and RoutePlanner. A carrying case is also included in the sales package. TomTom RoutePlanner covers both Western and Eastern Europe. TomTom CityMaps cover more than 100,000 cities in Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

Power consumption of the GPS Module is 50 mA in active mode and 1 mA when idle. In practice, GPS can be used in tracking mode with full display brightness for more than 5 hours without additional charging.
