mBrainSoftware have released Pdf Printer for Symbian devices (Psions and Nokia 92x0). It enables you to create PDF files on your machine, something that no other PDA / smartphone device can do.

When I first read about this I thought, no way! But mBrainSoftware certainly have the experience, and you can guarantee that it will be a quality and well supported product. mBrainSoftware have produced something which I'm sure will make non Symbian owners envious and which at a stroke makes compatiability problems when sending e-mail attachements a thing of the past given the dominance of the PDF format. Don't forget they also produce Pdf+ which enables you to read the Pdf files you create.

With PdfPrinter you can create Adobe(R) Acrobat(R) files, also know as PDF files, on your Symbian OS powered device.

Pdfprinter is a printer driver, this means that almost all programs that can print, can now also be used to create PDF files in the device itsef. Examples of print-capable programs are the builtin word processor, spreadsheet program, FAX editor and SMS editor, but also numerous third-party applications.

Use PdfPrinter to exchange documents with desktop PC's, to backup your faxes in PDF files or to email a quote calculated in a spreadsheet embedded in a Word document to a client.
