Forum Nokia have announced the availability of version beta 0.1 of a new 'concept' SDK for the Series 60 range of Symbian phones. It is a small download at 5.6MB and so for those interested may be worth a look. It inludes an emulator for testing MIDP files with a Series 60 look and feel.

Nokia describe the SDK thus:
Contains a Nokia concept emulator for the Series 60 UI category, Java class libraries, APIs (including Nokia UI API) and documentation.

NOTE: Nokia Series 60 MIDP Concept SDK enables the Java application development for all Nokia Series 60 UI category products. The phone emulator in this SDK is designed to emulate the application look & feel and the behavior in the Nokia Series 60 phones. This emulator supports the button layout of Nokia 3650 as well as new Java APIs (Wireless Messaging API and Mobile Media API) supported in Nokia 3650.
