FreEPOC and Adrian Pemsel are pleased to announce the immediate release of Phocal, a little photographer's calculator for Series 60 phones written in OPL. At the moment it calculates the depth of field based on the focal length and aperture of the lens. With its intuitive and fast user interface it is perfect for one hand operation while holding the camera in your second hand.
Phocal is written in OPL and its source code is available under an Open Source license. See yourself how easy it has become to write software for phones based on Symbian OS, use it as a starting point for your own applications or help us to improve Phocal.
Like all FreEPOC software, Phocal is freeware and can be downloaded from http://www.freepoc.org/
