The last few weeks have seen the staff of All About Symbian and Mobitopia work on a joint chatroom. It's now finished testing, and you can visit the chatroom and join in with lively discussion throughout the day. It's free, it's fast, and it's fun.

The chatroom is based around IRC, and is an extension of the #mobitopia channel on irc.freenode.net. If you already use an IRC client to log into #mobitopia channel, then the AAS Chatroom won't offer you anything extra.

If you don't use IRC, then the Chatroom has a small Java Applet that will log into IRC for you,and take you to the correct room. All the settings are there already, you just need to give it a screen name for yourself.

We'll look at trying to set up a fixed time for everyone to login if it proves popular, but at the moment, there's usually 5-10 people on at any one time.
