PyS60 hits 1.9.4, adds single runtime, full-screen on 5800

Boy oh boy, Python for S60 is coming along nicely. Just in time for the likes of the Ovi Store, too. New in v1.9.4, out today are a single signed runtime, an improved application packager, easier runtime deployment, new APIs and a full-screen mode for the likes of the Nokia 5800.

Interesting the post mentions the Ovi Store. I have registered as a developer and in the official forum have asked the question if an application produced using Python, or any other interpreted language) needs to be Symbian signed (an essential requirement for the Ovi Store) or whether it is covered by the runtime already being Symbian Signed. So far the Ovi team have not replied despite a couple of E-Mail prompts. Anyone here know ?

I'm not a programmer so I don't know if this helps, but apparently Ovi Store WRT content doesn't need to be signed:

What's the W in WRT stand for? If it's 'Windows' what is the relevance to Ovi Store?
