The developer site Forum Nokia has published the official detailed technical specifications for the recently-announced Nokia 5320 XpressMusic smartphone. It's a Symbian S60 3rd Edition FP2 device with a QVGA screen, 369mhz processor and a rather generous 85MB of free RAM. As mentioned before, the main standout features are dedicated music and gaming keys, 24 hours music playback, N-Gage compatibility, a dedicated audio chip and a low launch price (220 euros plus taxes).

For more info on the phone, see AAS's exclusive hands-on 5320 gallery and our news item covering the announcement. Also see our sister site All About N-Gage's coverage.

Give or take some RAM, this is the same core hardware spec as the 6120 classic (processor etc) so given this supports NGage I think this is yet another positive point in favour of seeing NGage on the 6120.

Very impressive RAM amount for a 220 Euro device, way above what the target market will need...also what impresses me is the 15mm & 90g dimensions/weight of the device, almost identical to the 6120C & lets not forget all the benefits it carries due to it running Feature Pack 2...will be strong seller...:icon14:

The 6120 is actually way over the minimum spec required for N-Gage! :-)

The N-Gage platform was designed with the N73 in mind which has a much slower processor and a bit less RAM than the 6120.
