Fellow mobile writers Matthew Stevens and Darla Mack have drawn our attention to Gypsii, another entrant in the albeit crowded marketplace for social networks powered by the mobile phone. Gypsii is primarily built around photo sharing and tagging each photo with the GPS derived location data, then sharing this with your friends on the Gypsii network.
As with most of these services, the key factors are going to be does it work with my phone (maybe - S60, Blackberry and Windows Mobile clients are available); and can I get my friends to use the service as with me (that's a bit more tricky and depends on your friends).
Steve's going to look at Gypsii in more depth over the next week or two, so keep an eye out for that. In the meantime, if you want to try it yourself, head over to the site to sign up.
