Shake Me debuts

Published by at

From accelerometer enthusiast(!) Andrew Galpin comes news: "The first of Samir’s two new apps have been released to beta testers. The first one, ShakeMe (video below), allows the user to perform certain actions on their phone by Shaking it, rather than using a keypress. Currently it supports 4 modes, with more to be added in the next release! More below."

Modes include:

* Key Lock: Lock/Unlock your keypad by shaking your phone.
* Bluetooth: Activate/deactivate Bluetooth state by shaking your phone.
* Silent: Activate/deactivate silent profile by shaking your phone.
* Backlight: Switch the backlight on by shaking your phone.

The alpha version has built in settings for Reactivity and Sensitivity, with the option of turning the tone, played when ShakeMe is used, off/on. The alpha version is available to donators, but if you can wait, the final version will be available, free to all, after it has been submitted to Symbian Signed.
