I find their decision to use Windows DRM under a Windows OS strange and disappointing.

Strange because what does this mean for Nokia's Linux device line like the N800 internet tablet. They start an internet service that is not accessible by its own internet device! Does this mean Nokia have given up on such devices and other Linux based developments? I accept that they had to use DRM to get the contracts with the music companies but why align themselves to Microsoft?

Disappointing because like the BBC's iPlayer it relies on Internet explorer. Why have they decided to ignore one of the few true international standards and not make their web based service W3C compliant?
