UIQ announce Developer Advisory Board

Published by at

UIQ has announced the launch of the UIQ Developer Advisory Board which is aimed at helping various companies that target UIQ developers coordinate their activities. The advisory board will meet on a regular basis to discuss the best way that the industry can use its resources to help support developers. The board will actively seek feedback and input from developers over which issues should be addressed.

Within the Symbian ecosystem there are many more companies involved in the developer area than in competing platforms. Developers often need to obtain information from or work with as multiple companies. The advisory board is clearly aimed at ensuring these companies are able to provide support to developers in the most resource efficient and timely manner possible. It is likely that activities will include aligning roadmaps and keeping other members of the ecosystem up to date with product, service and event announcements.

The board will also be actively seeking input from developers themselves.

We will bring you more information after the first Developer Advisory Board takes place.
