Nokia's long-awaited combat racing game Payload for the N-Gage and N-Gage QD is now on sale in the N-Gage Game Shop as a download for €9.99. You can find out more details about the game itself by visiting the Payload game info page.

There's no word yet on if a physical release will be issued for this game, but it seems unlikely given that very few physical shops stock N-Gage games any more.

This release will probably be the last one for the current generation from Nokia. Its replacement, the Next Gen Gaming Solution, is due for launch some time in the first half of 2007 across a range of the latest next generation S60 smartphones.
