Despite our
review from a couple of days ago, you don't need a separate application to keep track of World Cup events online - in this overview,
Ewan describes the links to use to get the same information within your browser for an even lower cost in terms of GPRS data.

Opera software has released a Worldcup version of the free Opera Mini browser. The only real difference compared to the ordinary version is that they have included a few WC related bookmarks, with a page with all the info you need: minute to minute results, tables, etc. And best best thing - it costs virtually nothing. The page is very condensed and only weighs in at 1-2 Kb per page (with pictures turned off).
You can access the dedicated Opera Mini WC pages here:

(bookmark them, and you dont need to download Opera Mini WC edition...).
