Nokia Podcasting Application for S60 3d Edition Coming Soon
Published by Rafe Blandford at 14:13 BST, April 28th 2006
Over on the MRKTNGman S60 blog Jouni gives some details of a forthcoming Nokia Podcasting Appliction for S60 3rd Edition. The program allows you to update podcasts on a manual, automatic or scheduled basis over a WLAN or 3G connection. The application will available in July and will be S60 3rd Edition only.
The program includes the ability to search for podcasts using various directories (results are returned as OPML files).
The program is independent of any one directory of podcast list and it looks like Videocasting (via MP4 files) will also be supported.
The program is integrated into the phone so you can send podcast and podcast links over MMS or Bluetooth.

Technically anything that's working on phone can be opened from Podcasting, MP4 being a good example. To my experience many of the videocasts out there are iPod/MP4 and most will work in 3rd Edition phones.

That's interesting to hear. Look forward to trying the application out :)

Hello,
I’m still being under big impression after using the Nokia Podcasting Application. You can easily search, discover, subscribe, download podcasts on your mobile device. The quality of podcasts is excellent and the pleasure after using Podcasting software is great. I want to share my experience about it at
