MobyMemory.com have today released their new 2GB MMC memory cards to the UK and European market, compatible with all recent MMC-slot Nokia mobiles, such as the Nokia 6600, Nokia N-Gage/QD, Nokia 9500. Other formats, such as RS-MMC are expected to follow in time, with larger sized DV RS-MMC also coming soon.

The price of the new 2GB memory card is £174.99 and includes a free USB2 MMC Card Reader (which is recommend for use with large data transfers, and occasional maintenance of the card, such as formatting).

In reality this mean the storage capacity of Nokia mobile phones just went up to a potential 50+ hours worth of .AAC music, hours worth of video and space for hundreds of programs.
