After a number of disappointing game titles recently, I'm pleased to announce reviews of a couple of real crackers. Ewan is delighted by STPuzzles for UIQ 3 smartphones (like his new consort, the W950i), while krisse is utterly blown away by K-Rally for S60 3rd Edition (also available for S60 1st/2nd/N-Gage, coming soon on UIQ3). Enjoy.

Fans of possibly the best S60 game available will be cheered to know that Virtual Pool Mobile is now in beta testing for S60 3rd Edition. I've been playing it on the 5500 and N93 and it works pretty well for early beta. Screenshots below from the 5500..... Availability of the release version is early February.

As a Christmas present from 'mtvoid', they have made their Bluetooth media control utility ControlFreak freeware. Here's the home page - it works on all S60 2nd edition smartphones.
Yet another DVD/video to Nokia smartphone converter has been released, from Rock Your Mobile. Nokia Video Converter looks quite slick though. URL and press release follows.

Mobile Systems' OfficeSuite 3 is released today for S60 3rd Edition devices. New features include charts, Inbox support and a better file browser. The full press release follows. DreamSpring have announced the availability of DreamConnect 3, an innovative contact manager for Symbian UIQ 3 smartphone users. This exploits the functionality of the built-in Contacts and adds hierarchical sub-categories, smart find and dynamic group messaging. The full press release follows.
Can you help me chase down the best games for S60 3rd Edition (both native and Java - if they're good enough), for featuring in a Christmas special here on AAS? No spamming please, but if you enjoy a good game on your smartphone, please add your tuppence worth in this forum thread.
