Smartner have today announced that they will provide Always-on Mail experience on Sony Ericsson mobile phones based on Symbian OS through Award-winning Smartner Duality Professional Edition. Al Richey and RMR Software have exclusivly confirmed to All About Symbian that they are hard at work on a UIQ version of RMR Bank now that OPL is available for UIQ Devices. They've asked that anyone willing to help on the beta test email them on support@rmrsoft.com.
UIQ have today announced a new version 3.0. It does not go into any great details but states that it runs on a new Symbian version 8.0. It seems that it will be aimed at smaller form factor devices with pen or single handed operation. Full press release attached.
