Malcom Bryant via FrEPOC has released jText. jText is a simple text editor for the P800 written in Personal Java. It will enable you to create and edit ASCII files directly on your P800.
Thanks to Peter van Sebille Doom for the P800 is here in the form of EDoom. The port is supports, game save/load and it has 8 channel sound support and can be configured to either rotate the screen to the left or right. Siemens is set to launch its highly anticpated Symbian phone at 3GSM in Cannes according to this PMN report. Two new phones (a high end Symbian, and low end) are set to be announced and a further two at CeBit (another Symbian phone perhaps). The phone is likely to be the much rumoured Series 60 device.

Malcolm Bryant and FreEPOC present jZip, the perfect companion on your travels around the internet. With jZip on your P800, you are able to unzip attachments which have been sent to you via email or zip files which have been downloaded from the Web.
Its been anticipated for some time, but now the official announcement has been made. Sendo have liscensed the Symbian OS following up on their liscensing on Series 60. Sendo’s first Symbian OS product will be a data-enabled smartphone using the Series 60 User Interface.
At last there is a video recorder that records sound at the same time. Its called Pocket Nancy and it is available only in Japanese. We are not sure if it is for sale or free.....because the site is in Japanese! For more inforamtion click here.
Ok not so much mayhem. But in the music vid for MyBalloon's new release "Trust No One" (due out on Feb 3rd in Germany), we can clearly see a chubby business man type talking into a 9210 and holding it the right way round. A non-perfect quality video can be downloaded from the band's website.
