Traffic-i is a new service / program that is currently only available on the P800. It allows you to get detailed and uptodate traffic reports on your P800 from the well known Trafficmaster system (UK only). This is exactly the kind of service I think is the coming thing on Smartphone. This is quite expensive for a years subscription, but probably well worth it if your drive a lot.
mp3tagger is a utility which allows you to edit the ID3 tags on MP3 files/ This means you can edit and chnage the information displayed in the on board Mp3 player of the P800 so it displays what you want. The software is freeware by Lars Decker.
P800 Star is a spaceship flying game, guide your ship through star fields until you reach the safety of a worm hole. This game can be purchased for $5 from Handango.
MotoRacer is now avilable for the P800. This is a motorbike racing game for Digital Red and was previously available for Series 60. 8 tracks and different bikes feature in this 3D game. The game cna be purchased via Handango.
SAL - Shortcut Application Launcher for P800 has been made available as freeware by P800.it. The software allows you to launch specified programs with the external buttons (Cam / internet etc.).
The Register seems to have some promising thoughts and rumours on OPL Development. Anyone interested in a powerful BASIC like programming language for their Symbian phone (or those just wanting more applications and games) should check it out.
It seems that lies are the order of the day at Microsoft where they have to twist the truth in order to get credit for anything. Poor things, nobody is buying their smartphone so if someone buys a phone that's kind of like their smartphone, only different, Microsoft adds that to the number of SPV sales....

To those of you who have tried this Block-Hit game on the 9210 platform before, i believe i dont have to tell how great this game was... and yeah its now ready for Sony Ericsson P800 users... i have tried it.. (Thanks!!!) and it's getting better with those sound options...
Stacker for Nokia 92xx communicator was updated to v.1.01. Now compresses more stuff like OPL, Java and vb apps but also compresses the contacts database.[get it here]

The Wireless Developer Network has posted an excellent article about the Open Source OPL Project and how our own contributer Ewan Spence started the ball rolling. It says that the Symbian licensees are backing the project and describes how they think it will improve the development opportunities for their products. A full progress report is to be given at the Symbian Exposium at the end of April. OPL is a easy to use Basic like language originally used in PSION handhelds.
