OPL (The Open Programming Language for Symbian OS) is now available for the Nokia 9500 and other Series 80 v2.0 devices (such as the 9300). With this runtime, OPL programs for the 9210 should run happily on the new device. The runtime can be found at the Sourceforge Project page.
AvantGo have announced that the long awaited upgrade to their new version (named 2005) is available for beta testing. Versions for both Series 60 and UIQ are now available. The key feature is improved wireless sync and better support for wireless browsing. AvantGo faces stiff competition from both RSS and direct anytime browsing via products such as Opera.
Proporta have announced the availability of their Bluetooth keyboard. Priced at £70 or €100 the keyboard includes drivers for both UIQ and Series 60. The keyboard is unusual in that it has a full row of number keys, making typing a little bit more like a full sized keyboard. Proporta also carry a number of cases for various Smartphones.
MGS Jewel Impulse 2 is the latest puzzle game powered by MGS and brought to you by MobileMe. Jewel Impulse 2 consists of three different games with 100 levels each. There's also multiplayer available via Bluetooth games.
