Recreate the classic console games, or emphasis the differences in a mobile phne. Which direction will the Mobile Games Market take (ask The Feature)? Given Pathway to Glory, Snakes and Pocket Kingdom were the games that showed the N-Gage could actually work (and Call of Duty failed to do anything impressive in the handheld), it's a fair bet Nokia are banking on the second. More on the new Symbian OS phones at 3GSM from Rafe. Today he's talking about Samsung's third Series 60 based phone, the Samsung D720. Looking like a 7650 on steroids, the general conclusion is that if this phone can get to the market, it could do very well.

London Traffic - Python Style

AAS Contributor and Python Advocate Jim Hughes has thrown together London Traffic Camera, a Series 60 Python applciation that will download images of the various BBC traffic cameras direct to your Python powered handest. Is it a finished app? No, but as a proof of concept, and a working tool, it does the business. And that's what promgramming should be all about.
