Super Miners from Infinite Dreams (authors of Sky Force and Explode Arena) is a new game for Series 60 phones. You look for hidden treasures and power-ups over hundred levels. With options for single player or cross platform multiplayer via Bluetooth, online higher score system, excellent graphics and sounds the game represents excellent value for money.

SBSH Mobile Software have announced the availability of a beta of their Papyrus software for Series 60. Papyrus is a more robust and powerful replacement for the standard Calendar program. Features include daily, weekly and monthly view, and more effecient use of screen space that the standard Calendar. During the intial beta period the software is available for free download, and the authors are looking for feedback as to what features you would like to see added.

There are menus, there are 3d menus, and there are great big spinning cubes that scream 'usability' at you. Infocube is one of the latter, and Gordon Ross, the Founder of Infocube, is a tireless attendee at trade shows. And he's very English about it. [Updated] Unstrung is reporting that Ericsson are suing Sendo for "patents covering GSM and GPRS technologies." Hugh Brogan is quoted (on BBC News) that "We do not want a free ride... We respect other people's intellectual property. We will pay a fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory royalty." The Feature goes into a good bit more depth today on this.
ProfiMail from Lonely Cat Games is now available for Series 80. Profimail, previously available on Series 60 and UIQ, is an email client. Notable features include automatic syncronization (download) of messages from the server, support for IMAP folders, support for HTML messages, built in file manager, filters and rules for selective message downloading and more.
Sorry for the pun, but Wildpalm have done it again. Not content with forcing a ZX Spectrum and a Nintendo Gameboy into Series 60, they've now launched Sonic Boy, a Sega Game Gear and Sega Master System emulator. Well worth checking out if you have some legal ROMS.
