Only launched a couple of days ago, Steve snatched the review copy of Virtual Pool Mobile out of Ewan's jet-lagged hands and has been up all night trying to beat the pool hall bosses. Here's the full review. Summary: great physics, this is as real as it gets, though more work is needed on the sound effects.

Zooming Opera hits S60

Opera has today released v8.5 of its advanced browser for many Series 60 smartphones. The highlight is the new zooming system which lets you zoom right in or out of text and images. Here are the Download and Changes pages. The new version is a free upgrade if your device came with Opera already bundled.

Nokia 770 now shipping...

The Nokia 770 has now gone up on Nokia's online shop for the princely sum of £245. At the moment though, it's completely out of stock. According to Nokia, it started shipping internationally on Monday (7/11/5), so it should be available in high street stores soon. Keep your eyes peeled for the forthcoming AAS review!

OK, so last week's re-launch got hit by the server going into meltdown and hardly anyone being able to get in... Hopefully, it's a lot faster now, so (drum roll) may I (re)present PocketInfo, with lots of free spreadsheets and documents for all Nokia 9210, 9300 and 9500 Communicators...
