The Nokia Series 60 Challenge was open to registered Forum Nokia developers in Africa, Asia, and America who submitted MMS, Java, or Symbian OS applications that run on the Series 60 Platform. Judging was done by executives from Nokia and other Series 60 licensees who looked at innovation, usefulness, and quality. The winners? Siemens SX1 launched - Symbian Series 60 phone

In this Siemens press release they have announced details of their new series 60 device the SX1. It has 64K Screen, weighs 110 grams, includes FM Radio and more. Acces have announced the availability of a trial version of a new web browser for Series 60. The version to download is a time limited beta. Features include: 'Just-Fit' Rendering for small screens, comprehensive markup language support, JavaScript and CSS,Bookmarks, history, Cache, Cookies and SSL.

New: Remote S60 - use your Series 60 device via your PC

Remote S60 allows you to control your Series 60 device (Nokia 7650 or 3650) from your PC. You use the PC keyboard to navigate around (and can obviously use the full keyboard). The software displays the contents of the screen of your S60 device in a window on your PC.
