The Nokia Series 60 Challenge was open to registered Forum Nokia developers in Africa, Asia, and America who submitted MMS, Java, or Symbian OS applications that run on the Series 60 Platform. Judging was done by executives from Nokia and other Series 60 licensees who looked at innovation, usefulness, and quality. The winners? DreamSpring have released DreamScribe for the Series 60 platform. It is desingned as an enhancement for the PIM functions of the phone allowing quicking adding and editing of PIM items.

In this Siemens press release they have announced details of their new series 60 device the SX1. It has 64K Screen, weighs 110 grams, includes FM Radio and more.
