Anyone who has used a 92x0 machine will appreciate being able to browse the contents of their mobile device from the Windows Explorer shell on a PC or Laptop. Well, owners of Series60 and UIQ devices can now do likewise thanks to Epocware who have released the PC File Manager.
Mobilewares have announced a new range of J2ME products for Series 60 - 'Niall's Mobile Puzzle Games'. 6 titles slated for release over the coming months. Already available is a Casino game. There are some good looking forthcoming titles too.
Yellow Computing have updated their PhotoSMS program. The updates include switching dithering on or off and better edge recognition on conversion. Yellow have also launched a new wesbite for the their Symbian OS products (nice improvement Yellow!).
Ashley Montanaro has updated Bemused to version 1.4. The new version fixes some bugs and adds support for controlling applications besides WinAmp. This experimental feature includes control of Windows Media Player, and Powerpoint Viewer 97.
Nokia today revealed more details about the N-Gage its Series 60 based wireless mobile gaming console. The phone supports GRPS, and tri-band GSM making it a world phone. MP3 Playback and an FM Radio are also built into the device. Support for wireless gaming it through internet connectivity and bluetooth. Story updated with specs, and images.

HandsetSoft-PhraseBook provides roughly 200 words in 7 different European languages in various categories (such as Transport, Arrival and Small Talk). The software can be purchased via Handango for $5.
JJL Software have updated there range of software. Message Saver has new icons and filtering, TodayView has new langauges, and Currency Converter has been reduced in price.
Terminator is a word game for Series 60. The object is to find words within a grid of latters, you get points for this. A bit like Boggle but with some added twists. The game can downloaded (as a demo) or purchased via Handango.
Resistance is a 3D graphics games based in space. You have the usual job of shooting everybody else. With 10 different missions and a cost of $6 this game should keep you amused for a while. The demo can be downloaded and the game bought via Handango
