£300 for Nokia 5800 SIM-free and one year of Comes with Music

The 'Comes with Music' version of the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic will be available in the UK, SIM-free, for a cost of £300, from the Nokia UK Store from May 21st. It comes with a 12 month Comes with Music 'subscription' so that you can download an unlimited amount of music, from the Nokia Music Store, for one year. The 'Comes with Music' version has a £50 price premium over the standard Nokia 5800. Read on for more links.

Comes with Music 5800Previsouly we reported that, in the UK, the Comes with Music version Nokia 5800 XpressMusic would be available exclusively via UK operator Orange. This means that buying a SIM-free version is the only way to get the Comes with Music version of the Nokia 5800 on another network (without taking out an Orange contract and unlocking the phone).

With 'Comes with Music' versions of the Nokia 5800, you can download an unlimited amount of music either on your desktop PC or on the device itself. Music can be played back using either your PC or the 5800. At the end of the one-year subscription period you will keep all the music you have previously downloaded (although transfers to other devices are limited by DRM).
