The original N-Gage launch in October 2003 saw Nokia announce a target of 100 MMC Games by Dec 2004. Those of you watching our N-Gage Games Database will realise that if you add up all the titles, we've only got 45 announced or available by Dec 2004. Nokia have confirmed at Nokai Connections 2004 that the current target is now 40 games for Dec 2004 (Reuters).
Tiger Woods PGA Tour is now shipping. The next EA Sports title, taking on the world of Golf, is available on MMC with bluetooth and N-Gage Arena functionality. As usual, UK and International orders can be placed through Allack.
Roots: Gates of Chaos (an N-Gage exclusive RPG) and Shade: Wrath of Angel (first person 3-D Horror) are coming ot hte N-Gage from Cegna Publishing. Apart from the obvious naming that leaves room for a million sequals, the Prauge based company are promiing what is rapidly becoming defacto for the N-Gage... Multiplayer, Bluetooth, Arena support and "hey, you can play anywhere." The games are penciled in for late 2004 / early 2005.

AnotherGuest has released an early beta of PicoDrive - the Sega Mega Drive emulator.It needs to be installed on the MMC and ROMS need to be stored in the root of any drive - C:\ or E:\ .Some things like key configuration might not work and it might crash more then once but what more can you expect from a Beta?PicoDrive S60 is attached.

AnotherGuest is very close to releasing a Series 60 version of PicoDrive,the Sega MegaDrive emulator.It is said that the performance is on par with UIQ devices.Some devices may have problems with large roms due to RAM limitations but the N-Gage shouldn't have any problems.A preview screenshot is attached.
The next build of N-Pop (the Neo Geo Pocket Emulator) for Series 60 is available from the N-Pop Homepage. It's still to be regarded as a beta, and while the speed isn't much faster, there's almost perfect compatibility over the romset. Time to load up "SNK vs Capcom" on the N-Gage!
Java access to N-Gage arena sounds like fun and good news for the N-Gage, but read the small print "...SNAP Mobile will be implemented in MIDP 2.0 on Series 60...". Now consider that the N-Gage and N-Gage QD are MIDP 1.0 devices! There's more to this than meets the eye...
