In a move that perhaps wasn't so surprising after all, the Nokia N-Gage team have announced that the service is now delayed again, quoting "unexpected difficulties". No date in January has been stated. Let's hope that it's early January and that more than the N81 is supported when N-Gage does come online. Also noteworthy in the press release is that Nokia describes N-Gage as available for "Nokia Nseries and other S60 3rd Edition devices", although they haven't yet revealed exactly which non-Nseries models will support the platform.
Milestones passing and arriving on the Smartphones Show. It passed the half a million viewings mark a few weeks ago, and is approaching its own half century, with Show 49 going live today, in the last show of 2007. This programme has a look at some smartphone bargains, an overview of the HTC Touch and Touch Dual, plus a review of all the add-on keyboard utilities, a demo of using a S60 smartphone as a wireless modem for your laptop and a brief look ahead to N-Gage.
Ah yes, Krisse does like to roundup Christmas/wintery games each year, with a couple of new entrants this time round. There are games for all Symbian platforms, most of them are free, and at the very least they should keep you going until Nokia decides to throw the switch on their N-Gage store...
