There is now an official Series 60 Website. According to Infosync it has been created by Nokia but is supported by Panasonic, Sendo, Samsung and Siemens as well. What's interesting about the site is that it seems to be trying to distance itself from Nokia and makes little direct reference to its current ownership. Series 60 is going to have its own stand at 3GSM and a Series 60 C++ developer book will be announced at the event.

Mobimate have announced the availability of a new version of DateMate named DateMate 2004. The new version adds address book and messaging integration. DateMate helps in remembering key events – from birthdays and anniversaries to Holidays and trade-shows.
Apple has released iSync 1.4. The new version adds support for the Nokia 3660 / 3620, the Nokia 6600 and the Siemens SX1. iSync now supports all currently available Series 60 phones.
Nokia have announced the forthcoming availability of Crash Nitro Kart from Vivendi Universal. The game is a cartoon style 3D kart racing game. You can shadow race in the N-Gage arena or play four player over bluetooth.
DreamSpring is a messaging application that allows you to send contact and calendar entries to other mobile devices in human readable formats (txt and wml). Multiple entires can be sent at once to multiple users via Bluetooth, infrared, MMS and e-mail. Defintely worth a look if you're a regular beamer.
Epocware today announced its first game for UIQ. One for all Solitaires brings more than 200 different solitaire games to one program, including Klondike, FreeCell, Golf, Canfield, Carpet, Black Hole, Blockade, Joker, Yukon, and many others.
Symbianware have recently launched two new products. PowerDictaphone is an enhanced recorder program for Series 60 phones. MessageStorer s a program to allow you to save your SMS, MMS, emails in a text file and send them to your PC.
Siemens has made available a firmware (version 06) update for the SX1 which you can download and install yourself. Additionally some free software for the phone is also available - this is a result of Siemens liscensing software from Symbianware. Currently available are Astronix, Powerball, Powerlock and Full Screen Caller, and there's more on the way too.
Last year when Motorola's roadmap was leaked there were mentions of Paragon II which was said to be the sucessor to the Motorola A920 and A925. AAS has received a tipoff giving more information about the forthcoming Motorola A1000 which is likely also known as Paragon II. The A1000 is a UIQ Symbian phone. Notable features include a 1.2 megapixel camera, 3G support (WCDMA), and GPS support.
